Sunrise Beach, Mo. (July 29, 2025) – The final round of the 19th Annual Parent Child Championship concluded today at The Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, Mo. After teams braved the heat over two competitive days, leaders were crowned in each division.

In the Championship 6-6-6 Division, Jared and Chancen Jordan (Rolla) maintained their spot atop the podium with a total gross score of 8-under 136. The Jordan team recorded three birdies and an eagle during the scramble portion of the day before heading into a challenging alternate shot format. The team finished strong with three birdies during the best ball format. Troy and Nick Halterman (Weldon Spring) claimed second with a 7-under 137 (70, 67). Miles and Steve Aduddell (Lebanon) carded a 5-under 139 (69, 70) to take third place.

Steven and Zach Redford (Branson) clinched first place in the Watson Flight with a 15-under 129. The Redford team made eight birdies during each of their two rounds. Adam and Jeff Lotz (Nixa, Highlandville) and Carter and Corey Bryan (Jefferson City) tied for second at 11-under 133. After finishing 1-under 71 during round one, the Lotz team fired a 10-under 62 in round two.

In the Nicklaus Flight, Patrick and Jack Britt (St. Louis) remained in first place, clinching the title with an impressive 21-under 123. The Britt team carded twenty-two birdies between the two rounds, including a 12-under 60 for round two—the lowest score of the tournament. Mark and Jackson De Lautour (Lee’s Summit) placed second at 19-under 125 (63, 62), while Matt and JP Ruble (Farmington) came in third with a 16-under 128 (67, 61).

Continuing their strong lead, Jeff and Jack Donovan (Gallatin) came out victorious in the Lanning Flight. The Donovan team shot a 10-under 134 (66, 68). Noah and Josh Wilson (Palmyra) finished second with a 6-under 138. Kyndall and Brad Hubbard (St. Joseph) and Daniel and Brody O’Connell tied for third at even-par 144.

Chris and Jack Smith (Lee’s Summit) claimed first in the Fricke Flight with a 4-under 140. The Smith team ended round one in the lead with a 3-under 69 and maintained their standing, ending round two with a 1-under 71. Jarod and Julian Meyer (Branson) finished at even-par 144 to secure second place, while Brian and Haiden Allen (Jefferson City) shot a 7-over 151 to take third.

In the Century Division, Robert and John Litzelfelner (Jackson) topped the podium for the second day in a row. The Litzelfelner team fired a 15-under 129 (64, 65) with seven birdies during today’s round. Nick and Don Sieve (Arnold) and Matt and Keith Kelley (Raymore, DeSoto) tied for second at 14-under 130.

Derek and Randy Rahlmann (Poplar Bluff) won the Super Senior Division with a total score of 12-under 132. The Rahlmann team, who ended round one in third place, carded seven birdies today to finish at 7-under 65. The division saw a tie for second between Del and JD Hedrick (Blue Springs, Raytown) and Ron and Patrick Baird (Springfield). Both teams finished with a total gross score of 11-under 133 (66, 67).

Sunrise Beach, Mo. (July 28, 2025) – The first round of the 19th Annual Parent Child Championship teed off today at The Club at Porto Cima in Sunrise Beach, welcoming 80 teams for a fun and competitive battle between families. Teams from across the state took to the course, each aiming for top honors in their respective divisions.

All divisions, except for the Championship bracket, played a scramble format. Jared and Chancen Jordan (Rolla) and Miles and Steve Aduddell (Lebanon) lead the Championship 6-6-6 Division at 3-under 69. Troy and Nick Halterman (Weldon Spring), Darin and Brooks Baldwin (Warrensburg) and Mitch and Greg Carlson (Lee’s Summit, Belton) all shot a 2-under 70 for third. The Halterman team finished with the lowest scores during both the scramble and alternate shot portions of their round. 

In the Watson Flight, Carter and Corey Bryan (Jefferson City) and Steven and Zach Redford (Branson) share the top of the podium at 7-under 65. Both teams carded eight birdies and only one boogie each to top the division. Crue and Scott Michel (Sunrise Beach) and Andy and Reese Ruprecht (Branson) share third place each shooting 5-under 67.

After today’s round, Patrick and Jack Britt (St. Louis) and Mark and Jackson De Lautour (Lee’s Summit) tied for first in the Nicklaus Flight. Both teams shot a 9-under 63. Both teams came to play with the Britt team carding ten birdies, while the De Lautour team clinched nine birdies. Michael and Maxwell Sutton (Springfield) followed closely behind at 8-under 64 to secure third. 

Jeff and Jack Donovan (Gallatin) take a strong lead in the Lanning Flight at 6-under 66. Tied for first after the first nine, the Donovan team stayed strong shooting 3-under 33 on the back nine to secure the lead. Daniel and Brody O’Connell (Nixa) followed in second place with a 3-under 69. The division saw a tie for third at 2-under 70 between Noah and Josh Wilson (Palmyra) and Bob and Beau Bryant (Warrensburg).

In the Fricke Flight, Chris and Jack Smith (Lee’s Summit) hold the lead at 3-under 69. Jarod and Julian Meyer (Branson) recorded an even-par 72 to claim second place. Nick and Jeff Metter came in third place shooting a 3-over 75 during today’s round.

Robert and John Litzelfelner (Jackson) topped the Century Division (combined ages of 100) shooting 8-under 64. The Litzelfelner team shot a notable 5-under on the back nine with three straight birdies on holes fifteen, sixteen and seventeen. Nick and Don Sieve (Arnold) are in second following round one with a 7-under 65, while Matt and Keith Kelley (Raymore, DeSoto) shot a 6-under 66 to take third.

The Super Senior Division (one player over 70) saw a tie for first between Del and JD Hedrick (Blue Springs, Raytown) and Ron and Patrick Baird (Springfield), both finishing at 6-under 66. Hedrick’s team’s impressive round was highlighted by seven birdies and one eagle, while the Baird team carded five birdies and one eagle. Derek and Randy Rahlmann (Poplar Bluff) followed closely behind, claiming third with a 5-under 67. The Rahlmann team fired a 4-under 32 on the front nine to start their bogey free round, before heading into a challenging back nine. 

Round two will continue tomorrow morning, with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
