Golf Course Manager - Creve Coeur Golf Course, Creve Coeur MO
Responsibilities:
- Builds and maintains positive relationships while serving all internal and external customers using effective communication and teambuilding skills.
- Interviews and hires employees as needed; establishes goals for staff; evaluates and documents staff’s performance to ensure efficient and effective department personnel.
- Maintains calendar of events for golf course; runs and coordinates with leagues, high schools, tournament players and individual patrons and contacts groups to ensure safe and efficient use of the golf course.
- Manages general operation and appearance of pro shop and concession stand to ensure it reflects a positive public image.
- Ability to be a “problem solver” and devise and suggest ideas about how to move the pro shop operation in a positive direction.
- Orders and maintains inventory and supplies for the pro shop and concession stand.
- Assures a profitable service of concession stand food and beverage year to year.
- Trains staff in food service, sanitary and safety procedures.
- Markets the sale of merchandise for pro shop and concession stand. Prepares month-end inventory and submits monthly reports for all activities in POS system.
- Assists in the preparation and justification of an annual budget for pro shop and concession stand. Manages budgets and timely prepares bills for payment.
- Supervises maintenance and upkeep of equipment; monitors golf carts and POS system to ensure safe and effective operation of equipment for the facility.
- Demonstrates a commitment to his/her public duty and presents oneself as a credible and knowledgeable representative of the city to maintain public trust by following the principles of “Our Commitments to Character-Driven Professionalism.”
- Assists in day-to-day management of the entire recreation facility as needed and performs ice scrapes when necessary.

Golf Operations Assistant - St. Peters Golf Club, St. Peters MO
Description:
This position is responsible for assisting the Golf Course Operations Coordinator in the oversight and execution of St. Peters Golf Club day-to-day operations including Pro Shop & Tee Sheet management, Food & Beverage Service, and Weekly Golf Leagues & Tournaments.
Seeking a candidate with a hands-on approach to the operation. Experience with GolfGenius Software and prior Tee Sheet Management is preferred but not required. Food & Beverage experience is a plus. Our ideal candidate has excellent interpersonal and communication skills – both verbal and written. Must be 21 years of age or older and willing to work Early Mornings, Late Evenings, Weekends, and Holidays. 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee the execution of Golf Leagues & Golf Tournaments. Including set up, check-in, scoring, and aiding of customer comments or concerns.
- Use the GolfGenius software in the administration of Weekly Golf Leagues & Golf Tournaments. This includes inputting scores, creating events, finalizing leaderboards, and managing the GHIN Handicap Indexes of league & tournament members.
- Manage Golf Tee Sheet on a daily basis to provide a fluid and punctual operation and ensure maximum customer enjoyment.
- Operate Caddy’s Bar & Grill inside the golf clubhouse to ensure safe food handling practices & excellent customer service.
- Supervise seasonal staff and provide help in all positions of the operation. This includes Pro Shop, Cart Attendants, Food & Beverage, and Special Events (Approx. 50 employees).
- Inventory Management in Golf Shop and Bar & Grill by tracking inventory on-hand as well as placing & picking up vendor purchases.
- Coordinate with Banquet and Maintenance staff to plan and execute day-to-day operations and special events.
Bartender/Server - St. Joseph Country Club, St. Joseph, MO
SUMMARY: The Bartender/Server alternates between bartending duties and serving duties as directed by management. Provide exceptional customer service skills by greeting customers, learn about their food and drink preferences, answer questions, recommend menu items, and prepare and serve beverages and food.
Responsibilities:
- Welcoming customers and listening to people to determine beverage and/or food preferences, making recommendations, and taking orders.
- Prepare alcoholic or non-alcoholic beverages for bar and patrons.
- Remain knowledgeable about menu items and informing customers about new beverages and specials.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions, ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to patrons, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies.
- Executes a high standard of customer service from beginning to end.
- Ensure consistency in preparation and presentation of food and drink items before serving to guest in a timely manner.
- Follow all standard food handling, sanitation and health department guidelines.
- Maintains customer satisfaction by responding promptly and courteously to requests.
- Maintains specific side-work and ensures the total cleanliness and smooth operation of the restaurant.
- Prepares final bill, presents check to guest, and manages accurate incoming and outgoing financial transactions.
- Follow proper payroll, uniform, and grooming policies and procedures.
- Notify management of unsafe conditions, needed maintenance of tables, chairs, carpet and/or equipment and any accidents.
- Maintains open communication with the restaurant staff to ensure efficient flow of restaurant.
- Clears and resets tables as needed.

Golf Shop Manager/Assistant Golf Professional - Indian Rock Golf Club, Laurie MO
Job Description:
The Golf Shop and Event Manager is responsible for providing quality service to members and guests. This person will promote Indian Rock Golf Club and all of its amenities, have a positive attitude and have at least general knowledge of the golf industry and the game of golf. This position will report directly to the GM.
Responsibilities:
- Checking in golfers using the G1 Golf Now System.
- Train, schedule and supervise golf attendants.
- Respond to all club inquiries, interact with members and guests, stock and organize storage and display areas and maintain a welcoming atmosphere of friendliness, decorum and comradery.
- With the assistance of the GM, organize and run tournaments and leagues throughout the year.
- Manage all golf operations including but not limited to, golf carts, storage areas, locker rooms, etc.
- Open and close golf shop for daily operations. Hours of operation will vary and will be set by GM.
- Update and create social media which is not limited to Facebook and Website.
- Promote member retention by recommending new and innovative events that will engage members of all ages in various club activities. Recruit new members.
- Perform other tasks as needed.

Hospitality Director - Blue Hills Country Club, Kansas City MO
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage managers and staff in service, events, and pool.
- Supervises F&B Managers, Assistant Event Coordinator, Wait staff, Banquet staff, Bartenders, Hostesses, Bus persons, Beverage Cart servers, Halfway House servers, and Pool Snack Bar servers.
- Cost control and budgeting for all reporting departments including forecasting.
- Training new hospitality management as well as overseeing training of all hospitality hourly positions.
- Regular performance reviews for all hospitality employees in reporting departments as well as disciplinary and hiring duties (alongside department managers).

- Generation of sales incentives for hourlies to meet or exceed budgetary goals set forth on a yearly basis.

Service Assistant - St. Joseph Country Club, St. Joseph MO
SUMMARY: The Service Assistant will help the wait staff and bartenders improve the dining experience for our guests. A variety of duties are included in the Service Assistant position including running food to tables, assisting servers with drink refills, rolling silverware, table setup, bussing, and cleaning tables. This position will also assist in special events and banquets.
Responsibilities:
- Picks up food product for orders placed by the service staff and delivers the meal to our guests.
- Assists the kitchen and service staff as needed to maintain the highest level of food quality, presentation, and timing to optimize our guests dining experience.
- Sets up the front line with the equipment, plate ware, and smallware needed to effectively serve all food products.
- Keeps station restocked throughout the shift.
- Cleans large and small trays and tray stands to be ready for service.
- Reads order tickets as they arrive and place onto ticket minder.
- Tracks cooking times on all orders, checks finished product for proper degree of doneness, appearance, and plate presentation.
- Garnishes finished entrees according to house specifications and procedures.
- Assists the server as needed to optimize the guest’s dining experience.
- Accomplishes all job duties while adhering to all safety guidelines and practices throughout the shift.
- Reports any unsafe condition, unsafe act, accidents and/or injuries to the chef or other manager on duty.
- Correctly completes closing duties at the end of each shift.
- Assists Chef and other kitchen personnel in accomplishing closing duties and kitchen cleanliness.

Golf Operations Manager - State Tech Golf Center (Osage Country Club), Linn MO

We are currently accepting applications for a full-time, benefit eligible Golf Operations Manager at the State Tech Golf Center (formerly Osage Country Club). This energetic, self-motivated, professional must be customer service minded and have extensive knowledge and passion for the game of golf.
Job Responsibilities: This position will be responsible for the day to day operations of the brand new Toptracer driving range and pro shop. Qualified individuals will also oversee memberships, manage the daily tee-sheet and ensures overall success of tournaments, leagues and golf activities offered at the golf center. Qualified candidate will be responsible for learning and educating our guest and staff members on the Toptracer technology. A high golf IQ is required to be able to adequately assists guests and make recommendations regarding merchandise available for sale in the pro shop. Applicants will be responsible for hiring, training and retaining staff to assist in the operations of the driving range and pro shop. Must ensure overall cleanliness and visual appeal of both locations, that creates a welcoming and fun environment. This position must maintain a close working relationship with the Golf Course Superintendent, as well as the Event and Entertainment Director to maintain effective inter-departmental operations and ensure a pleasurable experience for our guests. Required Qualifications: This individual must be 21 years of age and demonstrate a high degree of professionalism, integrity, organizational and prioritization skills. Must have a proven track record of providing excellent customer service in a retail and guest service setting. 2+ years of employee management experience is required. Applicants must be very comfortable with computer technology and have the ability to learn new software. Strong leadership and strategic planning skills is also a must.
Preferred Qualifications: A 2- or 4-year degree in business, management, sports, parks and recreation, hospitality or related field, preferred. Retail management experience, preferred. Prior experience providing golf lessons would also be a major plus in this position.
