Two Lady Scramble to be held May 31-June 1

May 26, 2023

EDWARDSVILLE, IL., (May 26, 2022) – The Missouri Golf Association’s 25th annual Two Lady Scramble will run from May 31 to June 1, 2023 at Sunset Hills Country Club in Edwardsville.

The Two Lady Scramble is a 36 hole competition with teams paired according to handicap index. Sister duo Christie Blasi and Katie Yates claimed the championship title in 2022 at Old Kinderhook in Camdenton with a score of 2-under 142 (71, 69). This year, 20 teams will gather in Edwardsville to compete for the title.

The first round will begin with a shotgun start at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, May 31.

The second round will begin on Thursday with an 8:30 a.m. shotgun start and will follow the same format as the first round with flights based on round one team scores. The two day low gross score will determine the winner in each flight. A sudden death playoff will occur if there is a tie for the tournament winner.

Players will enjoy an awards luncheon following the round, and gift certificates will be given to top finishers in each flight.

To qualify for the tournament, golfers must play at clubs or courses that are members of the Missouri Golf Association.

Play is governed by The Rules of Golf as approved by the USGA, and, where applicable, by Local Rules consistent with USGA Rules.
