Developing the next generation of golfers through competitive events, statewide championships, and elite junior programs
The Missouri Junior Golf Foundation (MJGF) was established in 1998 to expand access to golf and create opportunities for young people to learn, play, and compete. The Foundation helps introduce the game to new players while supporting the next generation of golfers across Missouri.
The MJGF oversees Missouri Golf’s junior programs and championships, including the Stan Utley Junior Tour, Junior Amateur Championship, and Junior Match Play Championship. MJGF also owns the Ken Lanning Golf Center, a fully accessible 9-hole course in Jefferson City designed for golfers of all ages and abilities.

The Missouri Junior Golf Foundation is committed to strengthening the future of golf by creating opportunities for everyone to learn, play, and grow through the game. From junior golfers picking up a club for the first time to individuals with disabilities discovering new ways to enjoy the sport, the Foundation works to ensure golf continues to thrive for generations to come.
At the heart of that mission is the Ken Lanning Golf Center, a 9-hole, fully accessible golf course in Jefferson City designed to welcome golfers of all ages and abilities. The facility provides a place to learn the game, develop skills and experience everything golf has to offer in an inclusive environment.
