Twenty Advance to Missouri Amateur Championship at Paradise Pointe Qualifier

June 4, 2025

SMITHVILLE, Mo. (June 3, 2025) – Mitchell Revie (Kansas City) shot a 5-under-par 67 today at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex to earn medalist honors at the Missouri Amateur Championship qualifier on the Posse Course. Revie led a field of 58 players competing for 20 qualifying spots.

Revie, a rising senior on the Wichita State University men’s golf team, carded five birdies and only one bogey on the front nine. He added another birdie and posted a bogey-free back nine to secure the low round of the day.

Chance Rinkol (Overland Park) finished second with a 3-under 69, recording five birdies on the day. Rinkol recently completed his freshman season at the University of Iowa.

Three players tied for the third-lowest round at 2-under 70: Caden Mickelson (Kansas City), Brock Snyder (Ames) and Cody Glenn (Lawson). Mickelson is committed to play at the University of Nebraska, and Snyder just completed his sophomore season at the University of Missouri.

The cut to qualify landed at 3-over-par 75. Three players tied for 20th, sending the final spot to a playoff.

Bryson Oots (Kansas City) claimed the last qualifying spot after winning the playoff. Parker Amos (Platte City) is the first alternate, and Ethan Green (Hamilton) is the second alternate.

The Missouri Golf Association would like to thank the staff at Paradise Pointe Golf Complex for hosting the event.

Congratulations to all of today’s qualifiers. We look forward to seeing them at the 118th Missouri Amateur Championship, scheduled for June 24–29 at The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia.
