CAMDENTON, Mo. – Today, June 26, 2023, a Senior Series Tour event was held at Lake Valley Golf Club. A total of 80 senior golfers competed in today’s round of stroke play.
Senior Series events are open to male golfers who are members of the MGA and 50 years of age or older. Competitors compete in flights based on their age as of April 17, 2023.
Eric Thomas (Osage Beach) won the 50-54 Open division with a score of two over, 74.
In the 55-59 Open division, John Shock (Poplar Bluff) was the winner at four over, 76.
Jeff Spies (Ozark) won the 60-64 Open division, shooting 10 over, 82.
Tony Brown (St. Louis) came out on top of the 65-69 Open flight with a score of two over, 74.
Finally, Robert Trittler (Wentzville) was the winner of the 70+ open flight at two over, 74.
The following net flights have handicap strokes deducted from final scores.
Steven Cameron (Miller) won the 50-58 Net flight after shooting par, 72.
Tim Blasi (Ozark) and Danny Banderas (Lee’s Summit) tied for first place in the 59-64 Net division, both with a score of three over, 75.
In the 65-69 Net flight, Terry Farmer (Warrensburg) had the lowest score at six under, 66.
Ray Burton (Warrensburg) came out on top of the 70-74 Net group at three under, 69.
Lastly, the 75+ Net group saw Dick Halterman (Weldon Spring) as its winner after he shot five over, 77.
