JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (August 8, 2025) – The Missouri Golf Association is proud to announce the winners of the 2025 Missouri Junior Tour (MJT) Player of the Year awards. The MJT provides opportunities for junior golfers across the state to compete and develop their skills, with a points system that rewards consistent, high-level performance throughout the season.
Players earned points based on their finishes in events across the tour, with their top five performances counting toward the final standings.
The Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail, managed by the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Council, proudly sponsors the Missouri Junior Tour. Known for its scenic courses carved into the Ozark Hills, the Trail features 10 of the top 20 public golf courses in Missouri and has been named “The Best Vacation Spot in Missouri.”
16–18 Boys: Michael Atnip (Jefferson City)
Michael Atnip has earned the MJT Player of the Year title in the 16–18 Boys division. Atnip secured a first-place finish at Sedalia Country Club with an even-par 70 and tied for first at Columbia Country Club. He also finished in the top five at both Oak Hills and Tanglewood Golf Course, showcasing his consistent play throughout the season.
16–18 Girls: Haven Evers (Eldon)
Eldon’s own Haven Evers was dominant throughout the 2025 MJT season, earning the Player of the Year title in the 16–18 Girls division. Evers competed in seven MJT events, winning twice — once at her home course of Eldon Golf Club and again at Tanglewood Golf Course, where she recorded her best score during the tour, a 4-over 76.
14–15 Boys: Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City)
Jack Sinnett claimed the MJT Player of the Year honor in the 14–15 Boys division after a season that included four first-place finishes or ties. He competed in seven events and placed in the top five in every one of them. His best round of the year was a 2-over 73 at Columbia Country Club.
14–15 Girls: McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City)
In the 14–15 Girls division, McKenzie Martin earned Player of the Year after placing in the top three at all six events she entered. Her season included victories at Eldon Golf Club, Columbia Country Club and Tanglewood Golf Course.
12–13 Boys (18 Holes): Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia)
Columbia’s Blaine Munzlinger repeated as Player of the Year in the 12–13 Boys 18-Hole division. He competed in eight events, winning five and never finishing lower than third. His standout performance was a 3-under 67 at Heritage Hills Golf Course, where he won by seven strokes.
12–13 Boys (9 Holes): Drake Kovar (Columbia)
Drake Kovar played in six MJT events this season and earned Player of the Year honors in the 9-hole division for 12–13 Boys. Kovar won or tied for first in three events, showing consistency throughout the summer.
10–13 Girls: Reagan Sears (Columbia)
Reagan Sears captured the Player of the Year award in the 10–13 Girls division. Sears won events at Sedalia Country Club and Tanglewood Golf Course and placed in the top three in every MJT event she played this season.
10–11 Boys: Andrew Moss (Sedalia)
Andrew Moss of Sedalia earned Player of the Year in the 10–11 Boys division after winning MJT events at Sedalia Country Club and Lake Valley Golf Club. He competed in five events overall and was a strong competitor all summer long.
8–9 Girls: Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia)
For the second year in a row, Emerson Munzlinger from Columbia was named MJT Player of the Year in the 8–9 Girls division. She played in eight events and went undefeated, winning all eight. Her best round of the season was a 1-over 37 at Eldon Golf Club.
8–9 Boys: Henry Welpman (Stover)
Henry Welpman earned the Player of the Year title in the 8–9 Boys division after winning all five MJT events he entered. His season was highlighted by a 1-under 35 at Eldon Golf Club.

ABOUT MGA: The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf throughout the State of Missouri.
The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship. Four founding clubs would be the ones in existence in St. Louis in those early years – St. Louis Country Club, Algonquin Golf Club, Glen Echo Golf Club and Normandie Golf Club. Four years later, the invite-only Missouri Amateur was held in Kansas City at Evanston Club. 1911 marked the real organization of the MGA with Bonner Miller as Secretary and Executive Director. Ever since then, the MGA has striven to provide tournaments and spaces for Missouri golfers to sharpen their skills and enjoy the game.
