JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (July 1, 2025) – Six of Missouri’s top junior female golfers will represent the state at the 2025 Junior Girls’ Four State Team Championship, held July 2–3 at Firekeeper Golf Course in Mayetta, Kansas.
Established in 2008, the Junior Girls’ Four State fosters a friendly rivalry among amateur golfers from Missouri, Kansas, Iowa and Nebraska. The annual event features six-player teams from each state competing in singles, four-ball and alternate shot matches.
Team members are selected based on a combination of season-long point standings, major championship results and captain’s picks. Match play experience, character and participation in Missouri Golf Association events are also considered.
Representing Missouri this year are:
Page Bowman (Springfield) – A rising senior at Glendale High School, Bowman is committed to play collegiate golf at the University of Missouri. She earned her spot on the team as the 2024 Junior Amateur champion and was a semifinalist in the 2025 Junior Match Play Championship. This is her first appearance on the Four State team.
KC Lenox (St. Peters) – A recent graduate of St. Joseph’s Academy, Lenox will play golf at Lindenwood University this fall. She returns to the Four State team for the third year in a row and has also represented Missouri in the Southern Junior Cup the past two seasons.
Avery McLaughlin (Town and Country) – McLaughlin graduated from Visitation Academy and is committed to play golf at the University of Richmond. She finished runner-up at the 2024 Junior Amateur Championship and played in last year’s Southern Junior Cup. This is her third Four State appearance.
Betsy Mitchell (Kansas City) – Mitchell is entering her freshman year at Staley High School and is the youngest member of the team at just 14 years old. She was the 2025 Junior Match Play runner-up and won the 2024 Kansas City Classic. This is her first Four State team selection.
Kate Ryan (Columbia) – A graduate of Father Tolton Catholic High School, Ryan is committed to play golf at Coastal Carolina University. She was a semifinalist in this year’s Junior Match Play Championship and won the 2025 Two Lady Scramble. This is her third consecutive Four State selection and she has also played in two Southern Junior Cups.
Morgan Withington (St. Louis) – A graduate of Mary Institute and Saint Louis Country Day School (MICDS), Withington will play golf at Sacred Heart University. She tied for second in the 2025 Junior Amateur Championship and returns to the Four State team for the second time.
