
Junior Girls’ Four State Championship
About: The Junior Girls’ Four State Team Championship, established in 2008, fosters a friendly rivalry among amateur golfers from Iowa, Missouri, Kansas, and Nebraska. Hosted annually by one of the four states, the event features six-player teams selected based on points and performance throughout the season. Players compete in singles, alternate shot, and four-ball matches.

*This championship is an invitation-only event. Invitations are extended to eligible players who meet all criteria.
Selection Criteria:
- The two highest point earners will earn automatic bids to the Four State and Southern Junior Cup. You can view the point allocation table HERE.
- The Junior Match Play and Junior Amateur Champions will earn an automatic bid to both events.
- There will be two captain’s picks for each event.
- Captain’s picks are based on performance and participation in Missouri Golf Association events, age, and previous team match play experience. Other information taken into account is championship yardage, character, and positivity.
***Conduct of players and parents will also be taken into consideration. Missouri Golf Association reserves the right to exclude any player from a team based on conduct, even if they are an automatic qualifier for the team.
Eligibility:
- Open to female amateur golfers
- Must be 18 years old or younger as of July 2, 2025
- Must be a current MGA member
- Must live in Missouri or a contiguous state
