ELDON, Mo. (June 4, 2024) – The 2024 Missouri Junior Tour began today with an event held at Eldon Golf Club in Eldon. In total, 91 junior golfers competed in flights of various age groups.
Teagen Hull (Eldon) shot 4-under-par, 68, to win the 16-18 Male flight. Hull made five birdies during his 18-hole round today. Jordan Shivers (Jefferson City) shot 3-over-par, 75, for second place. Brody Rader (Eldon) took third place after firing 5-over, 77.
Avery Wells (Eldon) is the winner of the 16-18 Female flight after shooting 7-over, 79. Mia McGraw (Jefferson City) took second place at 16- over, 88, and Ava Williams (Holts Summit) rounded out the podium at third with a score of 19 over, 91.
There was a tie between Lake Bennett (Linn) and Kaden Massie (Ashland) for the top spot in the 14-15 Male flight. Both players shot 5-over, 77. Massie won the chip-off to take home the first-place medal. Jackson Bennett (Eldon) and Owen Zastrow (Washington) both shot 10-over, 82 to tie for third place, with Zastrow ultimately winning the chip-off to round out the podium.
The 14-15 Female flight winner is Haven Evers (Eldon). She shot even par, 72. Anna Boyd (California) and Aliyah Simmons (Columbia) tied for second place, both shooting 18-over, 90. Simmons won the chip-off to earn the second place medal, while Boyd took the bronze.
In the 12-13 Male 18-hole flight, Graham Henley (Eldon) took the top spot with a score of 3-over, 75. Houston Tiefenbrunn (Washington) earned second place after firing 12-over, 84, and Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) earned third with his score of 14-over, 86.
The following flights played nine holes of stroke play:
Josh Lucchesi (Sedalia) won the 12-13 Male 9-hole flight at 7-over-par, 43. Hudson Gray (Eldon) took home second place with a score of 12-over, 48, and Reid Hampton (Tipton) came in third with a score of 13-over, 49.
Lily Caudle (Holts Summit) is the winner of the 10-13 Female flight. She shot 12-over, 48. McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City) took home second place with a score of 16-over, 52, and Ashtyn Shaw (Jefferson City) placed third at 17-over, 53.
Tyson Strupp (Columbia) and Henry Russell (Fulton) tied for first place in the 10-11 Male flight with scores of 5-over, 41. Russell won the chip-off to take home golf, and Strupp earned silver. Calvin Sears (Columbia) and Finn Hutchison (Mokane) tied for third place after both shooting 10-over, 46. Finn won the chip-off to take third place on the podium.
Logan Knaebel (Columbia) won the 8-9 Male flight with a score of 5-over, 41. Ralstin Maupin (Fulton) took second in the flight after shooting 9-over, 45.
In the 8-9 Female flight, Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia) took the top spot at 17-over, 53. Hatley Evers (Eldon) came in second with a score of 30-over, 66. Finally, Allison Knaebel (Columbia) placed third after firing 32-over, 68.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
