LINN CREEK, Mo. – The Missouri Junior Tour continued today with an event held at The Golf Club at Deer Chase in Linn Creek. In total, 69 junior golfers competed in flights of various age groups.
Teagen Hull (Eldon) shot 5 over par, 76, to win the 16-18 Male flight. Luke Jenkins (Sedalia) shot 6 over par, 77, for second place. There was a tie for third between Aidan Knipfel (Mexico) and John Walls (Liberty); both shot 8 over par, 79. Knipfel won the chip-off and took home third place.
Sophie Hinds (Jefferson City) was the winner of the 16-18 Female flight after shooting 8 over, 79. Camryn Swinfard (Jefferson City) took second place at 9 over, 80, and Grace Ousley (Columbia) rounded out the podium at third with a score of 19 over, 90.
Brody Rader (Eldon) won the 14-15 Male flight with a score of 3 over, 74. Spencer Godwin (Cole Camp) came in second at 8 over, 79, and Chayton Jordan (Rolla) finished third at 10 over, 81.
The 14-15 Female flight winner is Avery Wells (Eldon). She shot 16 over par, 87. In second place is Mia McGraw (Jefferson City) at 26 over par, 97. And shooting 35 over, 106, Ava Williams (Holt’s Summit) takes home third place.
The following flights played 9 Hole Stroke Play:
Hunter Hovis (Jefferson City) won the 12-13 Male 9 hole flight at 8 over par, 43. Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) took home second place with a score of 10 over, 45, and Ty Brandt (Jefferson City) came in third with a score of 12 over, 47.
Haven Evers (Eldon) is the winner of the 10-13 Female flight. She shot 48, 13 over par. Reginald Simmons (Columbia) took home second place with a score of 14 over, 49, and Emilee Sinnett (Jefferson City) placed third at 17 over, 52.
Graham Henley (Eldon) came out on top of the 10-11 Male flight after shooting 10 over, 45. Brock Jernigan (Lebanon) came in second at 12 over, 47, and Bubba McGraw (Jefferson City) took home third place with a score of 13 over, 48.
Hunter Brown (Washington) won the 8-9 Male flight with a score of 5 over, 41. Mark McGrath (Camdenton) took second in the flight after shooting 18 over, 54.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
