Bellon, Omillian Capture Titles at Arris’ Pizza Summer Showcase

July 16, 2026

SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (July 16, 2026) – Lyoto Bellon and Alexi Omillian captured boys and girls titles, respectively, at the Arris’ Pizza Summer Showcase, held July 15-16 at Rivercut Golf Course.

The two-day championship featured junior golfers ages 14-18 from across Missouri competing in boys and girls divisions at one of southwest Missouri’s premier public golf courses.

Play began Wednesday under clear skies before heavy rain and thunderstorms moved into the Springfield area around midday, forcing a nearly three-hour suspension of play. Tournament officials were able to resume competition later in the afternoon, and all players completed the opening round before sunset.

Bellon emerged as the first-round leader after carding a 5-under-par 67 and carried that momentum into Thursday’s final round. Under patchy skies and light morning showers that eventually gave way to sunny afternoon conditions, Bellon pulled away from the field with a back-nine 31 to finish at 9-under-par 136 and claim the championship.

Austin Telle finished runner-up at 2-under-par 142 after firing a 2-under-par final round to climb the leaderboard, while Cooper Toalson placed third at even-par 144. Toalson opened the championship with six birdies during his first-round 70, helping secure his top-three finish.

The girls championship featured an exciting finish as Omillian closed the tournament in impressive fashion. After beginning the final five holes with the championship still up for grabs, Omillian birdied four of her final five holes to finish at even-par 144 and earn the title.

The battle for runner-up required a USGA scorecard playoff after three players finished tied at 8-over-par 152. DeLaney Daniels earned second-place honors following the playoff, while Annie Rothery finished third and first-round leader Audrey Miller placed fourth.

Missouri Golf extends its sincere appreciation to Arris’ Pizza for serving as the tournament’s title sponsor and to the staff of Rivercut Golf Course for their outstanding hospitality and support throughout the championship. Their efforts helped provide an exceptional experience for the junior golfers who competed over the two-day event.
