COLUMBIA, Mo. (June 30, 2025) – The Missouri Junior Tour made its debut at Columbia Country Club on Monday, where 90 junior golfers from across the state competed on the par-71 course in both 18-hole and 9-hole divisions.
In the Boys 16-18 division, Jack Hall (Columbia) and Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) tied for first with rounds of 3-over-par 74. Hall won the chip-off to take home the gold medal, while Atnip earned silver. Four players tied for third at 4-over 75—Mitch Brownell, Ethan Wunderlich, Kingston Lovelady and Collin Drews—with Brownell winning the chip-off for the bronze medal.
Avery Wells (Eldon) delivered the low score of the day in the Girls 16-18 division with a 2-under 69, highlighted by five birdies and an eagle. Haven Evers finished second at 4-over 75, and Emma Kliethermes placed third with a 15-over 86.
In the Boys 14-15 division, Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) earned first place with a 2-over 73. Crue Michel (Sunrise Beach) followed with a 5-over 76, and Jackson Bennett (Eldon) placed third with a 6-over 77.
McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City) topped the Girls 14-15 leaderboard with a 19-over 90. Ashlyn Sears (Columbia) was second at 28-over 99, while Camdyn Jones (Knob Noster) and Lily Caudle (Holts Summit) tied for third at 43-over 114.
Hunter Brown (Washington) led the Boys 12-13 division with a 3-over 74. Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia) finished second at 5-over 76, and Rexton Vandegriff (Belle) placed third at 10-over 81.
The following divisions played nine holes of stroke play:
In the Girls 10-13 division, Kate Hartman (Springfield) claimed first with a 13-over 49. Reagan Sears (Columbia) followed in second with a 24-over 60, and Sloane Morris (Columbia) placed third at 32-over 68.
Logan Knaebel (Columbia) won the Boys 10-11 division with a 6-over 41. Andrew Moss (Sedalia) finished second at 10-over 45, and Silas Middleton (Sedalia) took third with a 17-over 52.
In the Boys 12-13 9-hole flight, Drake Kovar (Columbia) shot 9-over 44 to finish first. Grant Darr (Kirksville) followed at 10-over 45, and Owen Bruemmer (Jefferson City) was third at 11-over 46.
Tripp Morris won the Boys 8-9 division with a 20-over 55.
In the Girls 8-9 division, Emerson Munzlinger earned first place with an 11-over 46. Harlee Martin finished second at 21-over 56, and Allison Knaebel was third at 27-over 62.
