BOLIVAR, Mo. (Sept. 23, 2025) – Thunderstorms forced the Missouri Golf Association to shorten the 36th Missouri Senior Amateur Championship at Silo Ridge Golf & Country Club to 18 holes today. A delayed shotgun start at 12:15 p.m. was halted again after approximately 15–20 minutes when lightning returned, and round two was ultimately canceled. Scores from yesterday’s opening round stand as final.

With his 3-under-par 69 from round one, Brian Haskell (St. Joseph) is the 2025 Senior Amateur champion. Haskell, also the 2025 Senior Match Play winner, led a field that never resumed play today, bringing the championship trophy back to St. Joseph.

In the Super Senior Division, John Bailey (Nashville) captured his second consecutive title after a 3-under 69 yesterday.

The Net Division finished in a tie for first between Russ Fees (Dadeville) and Bruce Schoenhofer (Ozark) at 1-under 71.
