EUGENE, Mo. (August 5, 2025) – The 2025 Missouri Junior Tour Championship concluded today at Redfield Golf Course after two competitive rounds. The invitation-only event featured 36 holes of stroke play over two days, with players earning their spot in the field based on performance throughout the Missouri Junior Tour season.
In the 16-18 Boys Division, Michael Atnip (Jefferson City, Class of 2026) emerged as the champion after a composed second-round 71, finishing at 3-under 141. Atnip carded three birdies and just two bogeys today to hold off Kaden Massie (Ashland, Class of 2027), who shot 73 to take second place at 1-under 143. Ayden Howard (California, Class of 2025) and Kingston Lovelady (Columbia, Class of 2026) tied for third at 8-over 152, with Lovelady winning a chip off to claim the bronze medal.
Haven Evers (Eldon, Class of 2028) dominated the 16-18 Girls Division, following up her first-round 74 with a 71 today to finish at 1-over 145. Evers had four birdies in her final round to secure a nine-stroke victory. Avery Wells (Eldon, Class of 2025) posted a strong 75 to finish second at 10-over 154, while Mia McGraw (Jefferson City, Class of 2026) finished third at 21-over 165.
In the 14-15 Boys Division, Hunter Hovis (Jefferson City, Class of 2028) stayed steady with a second-round 76 to finish at 5-over 149. Graham Henley (Eldon, Class of 2029) closed with a 75 but couldn’t catch Hovis, finishing two strokes back at 7-over 151. Bubba McGraw (Jefferson City, Class of 2029) placed third at 11-over 155.
McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City, Class of 2030) captured the 14-15 Girls title with a stellar round of 75, improving by five strokes from yesterday. Her total of 11-over 155 included five birdies in today’s round. Drew Maze (Columbia, Class of 2029) also had an impressive day, shooting 74 to take second at 13-over 157. Jalynn Kiesling (California, Class of 2028) rounded out the top three.
In the 12-13 Boys 18-Hole Division, Tyson Strupp (Columbia, Class of 2031) held onto his lead after shooting 73 today, finishing at 1-under 143. He recorded three birdies in the final round. Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia, Class of 2031) made a strong push with an even-par 72, finishing second at 2-over 146. Derrick Douglass (Moberly, Class of 2030) placed third at 16-over 160.
Among divisions playing 18 holes across two days (9 holes each day), competition remained tight:
Hudson Marcolla (Chillicothe, Class of 2032) shot 37 today to win the 12-13 Boys 9-Hole Division at 4-over 76. Abram Pettigrew (Tipton, Class of 2030) finished second at 10-over 82. Austin Krantz (Lake Ozark, Class of 2031) posted the lowest round in this division with a 35, climbing into third at 11-over 83 with three birdies and just two bogeys.
In the 10-13 Girls Division, Scarlett Arauz (Lake Ozark, Class of 2031) shot 68 today to finish at 67-over 139.
Rexton Vandegriff (Belle, Class of 2032) was rock-solid in the 10-11 Boys Division, shooting even-par 36 for the second day in a row to win at even-par 72. He had two birdies today. Luke Williamson (Palmyra, Class of 2033) shot 39 to finish second at 9-over 81, and Andrew Moss (Sedalia, Class of 2032) placed third at 14-over 86.
In the 8-9 Girls Division, Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia, Class of 2036) shot 41 to win with a two-day total of 9-over 81. Allison Knaebel (Columbia, Class of 2035) finished second at 28-over 100, and Harlee Martin (Jefferson City, Class of 2035) placed third.
Henry Welpman (Stover, Class of 2034) won the 8-9 Boys Division with a round of 38 today, finishing at 6-over 78 for the event.

This invitation-only event is the culmination of a successful MJT season, bringing together the junior golfers from across the state for a two-day stroke play competition.
In the 16-18 Boys Division, Kaden Massie (Ashland, Class of 2027) and Michael Atnip (Jefferson City, Class of 2026) are tied at the top of the leaderboard after both carded a 2-under 70. Each recorded five birdies to take a share of the lead. Carter Bryan (Jefferson City, Class of 2026) and Ayden Howard (California, Class of 2025) sit tied for third at 3-over 75.

In the 18-hole 12-13 Boys Division, Tyson Strupp (Columbia, Class of 2031) holds a two-stroke lead after shooting a 2-under 70 with three birdies and just one bogey. Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia, Class of 2031) is in second at even-par 72, recording an impressive six birdies. Derrick Douglass (Moberly, Class of 2030) is in third at 7-over 79.
Among the 9-hole divisions playing 18 holes across two days:

Zoe Torres (Lake Ozark, Class of 2031) leads the 10-13 Girls Division with a score of 22-over 58. Scarlett Arauz (Lake Ozark, Class of 2031) is in second at 35-over 71.
In the 10-11 Boys Division, Rexton Vandegriff (Belle, Class of 2032) fired an even-par 36, with three birdies to take the lead. Luke Williamson (Palmyra, Class of 2033) is in second at 6-over 42, and Andrew Moss (Sedalia, Class of 2032) is in third at 10-over 46.
Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia, Class of 2036) tops the 8-9 Girls Division with a 4-over 40. Allison Knaebel (Columbia, Class of 2035) is second at 16-over 52, followed by Harlee Martin (Jefferson City, Class of 2035) in third at 22-over 58.
In the 8-9 Boys Division, Henry Welpman (Stover, Class of 2034) is in the lead after shooting a 4-over 40.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
