FULTON, Mo. (Aug. 12, 2025) – The Missouri Golf Association’s Senior Series visited Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton today, drawing a competitive field across multiple age divisions.
In the 50-54 Open division, William Stuart (Columbia) carded a 4-over 76 to take the win. Darin Baldwin (Warrensburg) followed at 6-over 78, and Brad Thielemier (Poplar Bluff) placed third at 7-over 79.
The 55-59 Open division saw Darrin Pryor (Springfield) top the leaderboard with a 12-over 84. Neil Atkinson (Eldon) finished second at 15-over 87.
In the 60-64 Open division, Charles Steve Henry (Columbia) delivered the low round of the day, a 2-under 70 highlighted by five birdies. Bobby Godwin (Poplar Bluff) and Mike Clark (Owensville) tied for second at 2-over 74.
The 65-69 Open division ended in a three-way tie for first, with Mike Heim (St. Joseph), Bobby McKay (Joplin) and BJ Curry (Columbia) all posting 2-over 74s.
In the 70+ Open division, Tony Brown (St. Louis) and William Wunderlich (High Ridge) shared first with matching 3-over 75s. Ron Eilers (Columbia) finished third at 7-over 79.
On the net side, Justin Buttram (Centerview) took the 50-59 Net division with a 4-under 68. Tim Borman (Kingdom City) placed second at 1-under 71, and Mark McCarter (Jefferson City) finished third at 4-over 76.
The 60-64 Net division produced a four-way tie at the top, as Doug Grooms (Camdenton), Robert Bender (St. Louis), Scott Wingert (Camdenton) and Mike Domenick (Festus) all shot 3-under 69s.
In the 65-69 Net division, Dave Pingel (Branson West) claimed the win with a 2-under 70. Sam Puckett (Holts Summit) and George Barkho (Fulton) tied for second at even-par 72.
The 70-74 Net division also ended in a tie for first, with Ben Gallup (Columbia), Randy Blackwell (Washington) and Garret Anielak (Hermann) all carding 1-over 73s.
In the 75+ Net division, Gene Kemna (Jefferson City) shot 1-under 71 to take top honors. Dick Halterman (Moberly) placed second at 3-over 75, followed by Jan Skola (Camdenton) at 4-over 76.
