SEDALIA, MO. (July 14th, 2025) – The Missouri Junior Tour wrapped up its stop at Sedalia Country Club today, with 90 junior golfers teeing it up across 10 divisions. From the opening drive to the final putt, the tournament showcased fierce competition and standout performances in every division.

Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) topped the leaderboard in the 16-18 boys’ division with an even-par 70. Anthony Russell (Fulton) recorded a 3-over 73 to take second place. Carter Bryan (Jefferson City) secured third with a 4-over 74. Bryan started his day strong, carding his first ever hole-in-one on hole two. 

In the 16-18 girls’ division, Avery Wells (Eldon) fired a 4-under 66 to take first place. Wells’s round was highlighted by six birdies. Haven Evers (Eldon) claimed second place shooting a 5-over 75. Madison Keating (St. Louis) placed third with an 8-over 78. 

The 14-15 boys’ division saw Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) top the podium with a 7-over 77. Graham Henley (Eldon) placed second shooting an 8-over 78 during his round. Easton Dodge (Centralia) and Maxwell Sutton (Springfield) tied for third at 9-over 79. After the chip-off, Dodge took home the third place medal.

Drew Maze (Columbia) carded a 13-over 83 to take first place in the 14-15 girls’ division. McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City) took second place with a 21-over 91. Third place went to Ashlyn Sears (Columbia) with a 25-over 95. 

In the 12-13 boys’ division, Briggs Smith (Warrensburg) topped the podium with a 3-over 73. Hunter Brown (Washington) followed closely behind, shooting a 4-over 74 to take second. Derrick Douglass (Moberly) and Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia) tied for third at 5-over 75. Munzlinger took home the third place medal after winning the chip-off. 

The following divisions played nine holes of stroke play:

Drake Kovar (Columbia) claimed first place in the 12-13 boys’ division with a 7-over 42. Grant Darr (Kirksville) shot a 9-over 44 to take second place, and Tyler Willoughby (Kaiser) took third shooting an 11-over 46. 

In the 10-11 boys’ division, Andrew Moss (Sedalia) posted a 6-over 41 to take first. Henry Russell (Fulton) placed second with a 10-over 45. Silas Middleton (Sedalia) secured third with an 11-over 46.

The 10-13 girls division saw Reagan Sears (Columbia) on the top of the podium with a 19-over 54. Alexandria Lowman (Sedalia) claimed second with a 24-over 59. 

Henry Welpman (Stover) placed first in the 8-9 boys’ division with a 5-over 40. Theo Wilson (Belton) recorded a 11-over 46 to take second, and Calvin Wilson (Belton) took third with a 13-over 48.

In the 8-9 girls’ division, Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia) fired a 3-over 38 to take first. Leona Hibbard (St. Charles) took second place with a 6-over 41, and Harlee Martin (Jefferson City) placed third shooting a 14-over 49.

ABOUT MGA: The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization dedicated to promoting the best interests and true spirit of golf throughout the state of Missouri.
