FULTON, Mo. (June 19, 2024) – Today, Tanglewood Golf Course in Fulton was the site of an exciting Missouri Junior Tour event, sponsored by the Lake of the Ozarks Golf Trail. 92 junior golfers from various age groups competed for the top spots in their respective divisions.

In the 16-18 Male division, Teagen Hull (Eldon) clinched first place with a score of 1-over, 73, highlighted by five birdies. Michael Atnip (Jefferson City) secured second place with a 3-over, 75, and Parker Wiese (Okawville) finished third with a 7-over, 79.

Audrey Smith (Rolla) emerged victorious in the 16-18 Female division, scoring 6-over, 78. Catherine Fallis (Columbia) took second place with an 8-over, 80, while Madison Wolf (St. Peters) finished third with a 17-over, 89.

In the 14-15 Male division, Lake Bennett (Linn) and Crue Michel (Sunrise Beach) tied at 4-over, 76. Michel recorded four birdies, and Bennett had three. Bennett won the chip-off to claim gold, while Michel took silver. Owen Zastrow (Washington) and Kaden Massie (Ashland) tied for third at 6-over, 78, with Zastrow winning the chip-off for bronze.

In the 14-15 Female 18-hole division, Rylee Allred (Ash Grove) won with a score of 7-over, 79. Emilee Sinnett (Jefferson City) finished second at 8-over, 80, and Haven Evers (Eldon) secured third, also with a 9-over, 81.

Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) took first place in the 12-13 Male 18-hole division with a 4-over, 76, featuring three birdies. Bubba McGraw finished second at 5-over, 77, and Graham Henley (Eldon) took third with an 11-over, 83.

The following flights played nine holes of stroke play:

Gabby Anderson (Columbia) won the 14-15 Female 9-hole flight with a score of 22-over, 58.

In the 12-13 Male flight, Jackson Benbrook (Sedalia) and Grant Darr (Kirksville) tied at 14-over, 50, with Darr winning the chip-off for gold. Hudson Gray (Eldon) finished third at 15-over, 51.

Drew Maze (Columbia) triumphed in the 10-13 Female flight with a 3-over, 39, including two birdies. McKenzie Martin (Jefferson City) finished second at 11-over, 47, and Lily Caudle (Holts Summit) was third at 17-over, 53.

Tyson Strupp (Columbia) won the 10-11 Male flight with a 2-over, 38. Henry Russel (Fulton) took second place at 6-over, 41, and Finn Hutchison (Mokane) finished third with an 8-over, 44.

In the 8-9 Male division, Ralston Maupin (Fulton) won with a score of 5-over, 41, and Brett Benbrooke (Sedalia) finished second at 17-over, 53.

Allison Knaebel (Columbia) secured first place in the 8-9 Female flight with a 20-over, 56. Abigail Neely (Wardsville) finished second at 23-over, 59.

The Missouri Golf Association was started in St. Louis in 1905 to run the Amateur Championship.
