JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (May 5, 2024) – The 2024 Jefferson City Country Club Four Ball Championship concluded today after a second round of 18 holes of best ball. 7:30 a.m. tee times kicked off the morning, and by the end of the day, each division had its winning team.

Patrick Britt (St. Louis) & Tyler Stalker (Springfield) held their lead from the first round and won the Championship division with an impressive score of 12 under, 132 (66, 66). The team of Chayton & Jonathan Jordan (Rolla) jumped from fourth place in the first round to finish second place at 11 under, 133 (68, 65). Finally, Ryne Fisher (Overland Park) and Chuck Moore (Leawood) climbed the leaderboard today, finishing in third with a score of 10 under, 134 (67, 67).

Kyle Viehl (Maryville) & Jeff Eiserman (Springfield) had two consistent rounds and won the Senior division with a score of 15 under, 129 (63, 66). Sean McQueary (Springfield) and David Pfeil (Eureka) finished in second place at 11 under, 133 (65, 68). The teams of Scott Hovis (Jefferson City) & Wayne Fredrick (Springfield), Kevin Rome (Kansas City) & Scott Mason (Shawnee) and Brian (St. Joseph) & Tim (Clarksdale) Haskell tied for third place at five under, 139.

Lastly, in the Super Senior division, John Bailey (Nashville) & RJ Opliger (Basehor) saw a dominating win after shooting seven under, 137 (71, 66). Patrick Warren (Kansas City) & Dave Hornaday (Kansas City) took second place with a score of five under, 139 (67, 72), and Robert Trittler (Wentzville) & Bob Meeh (Eureka) rounded out the podium in third place at four under, 140 (69, 71).

JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (May 4, 2024) – The annual Jefferson City Country Club Four Ball Championship kicked off today, May 4, with tee times starting at 7:30 a.m. This highly anticipated event had a full field of 160 golfers who traveled to Jefferson City to compete.

The first round of 18 holes of best ball concluded today, and the front runners in each division emerged.

The Championship division is seeing very close competition, with the team of Patrick Britt (St. Louis) & Tyler Stalker (Springfield) currently on top at six under, 66. Corey Choate (Eureka) & Jason White (St. Charles) are following closely behind with a score of five under, 67. Ryne Fisher (Overland Park) and Chuck Moore (Leawood) are also in second place with a score of 67. There is a five-way tie for fourth place between the teams of Chayton (Rolla) & Jonathan (Rolla) Jordan, Michael Snyder (Jefferson City) & Wilson Sundvold (Columbia), Brian (Springfield) & Brad (Olathe) Bennett, Brent Mertz (Overland Park) & Ben Kimminau (Raymore) and Kevin Kring (Springfield) & Eric Ecker (Springfield).

Sean McQueary (Springfield) & David Pfeil (Eureka) are following closely in second place with a score of seven under, 65. The team of Kevin Rome (Kansas City) & Scott Mason (Shawnee) are in third at five under, 67. 

Finally, the team of Patrick Warren (Kansas City) & Dave Hornaday (Kansas City) is on top of the Super Senior division with a score of five under, 67. Robert Trittler (Wentzville) & Bob Meeh (Eureka) are sitting right behind in second with a score of three under, 69. The teams of Herb Sandker (Rocky Mount) & Mike Heim (St. Joseph) and Dee Sanders (Columbia) & Carl Turner (Fayette) are tied for third at two under, 70. 

Day two is sure to see close competition! Tee times will begin at 7:30 a.m. tomorrow, May 5.
