CAMDENTON — The final round of the 2021 MGA Two Lady Scramble concluded in dramatic fashion, with Stephanie Priesmeyer and Mindy Coyle coming back from being down one with two holes to play to win the event with an 11-under 133 (65, 68).
The Mizzou Women’s Golf coaches birdied the final two holes to avoid going into a playoff with Debra Sawyer and Baumhoer, who finished the final round at five-under. Priesmeyer and Coyle sank seven birdies in Wednesday’s final round, one better than the six birdies on Tuesday’s card.
In Flight A, Maria Morrison and Peggy Shamleffer took home first place at 1-over 145 (75, 70), including finishing 2-under in the final round.
In Flight B, Michelle Zollmann and Timi Siemer were victorious at 13-over 157 (80, 77). In Flight C, Patty Robinson and Diedre Robertson won with a 15-over 159 (83, 76). Finally, in Flight D, Carol Murphy and Rebecca Blase finished on top at 24-over 168 (87, 81).
