SPRINGFIELD, Mo. (May 19, 2026) – Dark skies and scattered rain greeted players during the opening round of the Missouri Senior Four-Ball Championship, with a brief lightning delay interrupting play early in the day. Conditions improved throughout the afternoon as clear skies emerged, though gusty winds continued to challenge competitors. Following multiple attempts to identify playable windows during the second round, play was ultimately canceled due to inclement weather, making first-round scores final.
In the Championship Division, Ben Kimminau and Trent Newby claimed the title with a 7-under, 65. The duo made a late push during their round, playing the back nine in 4-under par while recording two birdies over their final three holes to secure the victory.
Three teams tied for second at 6-under, 66, including Brad Thielemier and Scott Swain, Kyle Viehl and Jeff Eiserman, and John O’Neill and Pat O’Neill.
In the 65+ Championship Division, Barry Yehling and Mike O’Neill captured the division title after carding a 3-under, 69. A strong back-and-forth effort between the teammates produced four birdies on the round and helped lift the pair into the top spot.

In the Net 50–59 Division, Matt Clement and Sam Verslues earned the championship with a 6-under, 66, narrowly edging Chris Rackers and Danny Vaughan, who finished second at 5-under, 67.
