JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. (May 2, 2026) – Cool morning conditions gave way to warmer temperatures and sunny skies, helping set the stage for the opening round of the 2026 Jefferson City Four-Ball Championship at Jefferson City Country Club.
In the Championship Division, Brett Bailey and Jaxon Bailey lead the field after carding a 7-under, 65. Close behind is a tightly packed group of four teams tied for second at 6-under, 66, including Brett Windsor and Cole Dillon, Corey Choate and Jason White, Kory Franks and Brad Carpenter, and Rizq Rohizam and Adam Puchong.
The Senior Division leaderboard is equally competitive, with Brian Hall and Buddy Allen and the team of Wayne Fredrick and Brian Lovett sharing the lead at 6-under, 66. Two teams sit just one shot back at 5-under, 67, as Steve Aldridge and Jon Freeman are tied with John Moore and David Strickland heading into the final round. Highlighting the day in the Senior Division, Brian Haskell recorded a hole-in-one on the par-3 8th hole.
In the Super Senior Division, Steve Groom and Mark Addington hold the lead at 2-under, 70. Two teams are tied for second at 1-over, 73, with Joe Bellmer and BJ Curry joined by John Bailey and Peter Robbins.
Action resumes tomorrow at Jefferson City Country Club, with the first tee time scheduled for 7:30 a.m., as players look to position themselves for titles across all divisions.
