SEDALIA, Mo. (June 16, 2025) – The Missouri Golf Association’s Senior Series returned to Sedalia Country Club today, where the par-70 layout once again tested the field of Missouri senior golfers.

In the 50-54 Open division, Christian Corpe (Lake Ozark) put together a steady even-par 70, highlighted by four birdies to secure the win. Brad Thielemier (Poplar Bluff) finished one shot back at 1-over 71, while Darin Baldwin (Warrensburg) took third with a 2-over 72.

The 55-59 Open division saw Greg Crawford (Joplin) top the leaderboard with a 6-over 76. Dennis Jefferson (St. Louis) followed closely at 7-over 77, and J.D. Akers (Nixa) rounded out the top three at 10-over 80.

In the 60-64 Open division, Tim Holmes (Springfield) delivered a bogey-free front nine en route to an even-par 70. Steve Groom (Raytown) carded a 1-over 71, while Scott Whittaker (Scottsdale) secured third at 2-over 72.

The 65-69 Open division came down to steady play on the back nine, with Bobby McKay (Joplin) parring every hole after the turn to post a 1-over 71. Joe Bellmer (Columbia) finished second at 3-over 73, and B.J. Curry (Sunrise Beach) took third at 5-over 75.

In the 70+ Open division, Ron Eilers (Columbia) recorded four birdies on his way to a 2-over 72 to claim the win. George Bowler (Warrensburg) finished two shots back at 4-over 74, followed by Don Kuehn (Kansas City) at 5-over 75.

The Net divisions also saw strong performances across the board. In the 50-59 Net division, Tim Borman (Kingdom City) fired a 7-under 63 to take the top spot. Eric Austin (Raymore) placed second at 4-under 66, and Justin Buttram (Centerview) followed at 3-under 67.

In the 60-64 Net division, Bill Moseman (Blue Eye) shot even-par 70 to edge the field. Mike Domenick (Festus) finished second at 1-over 71, while Doug Grooms (Camdenton), Joseph Blandina (St. Charles) and Scott Wingert (Camdenton) all tied for third at 2-over 72.

The 65-69 Net division was led by David Highley (Willard), who carded a 7-under 63. Dave Pingel (Branson West) finished second at 1-under 69, while Terry Farmer (Warrensburg) and Jim Van Horn (Sedalia) shared third at 1-over 71.

In the 70-74 Net division, Randy Blackwell (Washington) took first with a 1-over 71. Garret Anielak (Hermann) followed at 2-over 72, and Marvin Frazier (Festus) placed third at 3-over 73.

Gerald Oney (Walnut Shade) led the way in the 75+ Net division, shooting even-par 70. Jerry Hailey (Ozark) took second at 7-over 77, and Lee Larscheid (Kansas City) finished third at 10-over 80.
