MOBERLY, Mo. (June 12, 2025) – 63 junior golfers from various age divisions competed for top honors in their respective divisions. Today’s tournament took place at Heritage Hills Golf Course, where golfers were challenged with a short weather delay leading to wet course conditions. 

In the 16-18 boys division, Augie Eisenbeis (St. Louis) claimed first shooting 2-over 72. Eisenbeis shot 1-over on both the front and the back, with two birdies on the back nine to finish out the day. Nick Halterman (Weldon Spring) and Carter Bryan (Jefferson City) tied for second. Both players shot 6-over 76. Bryan won the chip-off to take home the second place medal. 

Morgan Crist (Lewistown) took first for the girls 16-18 division. Crist shot 17-over 87. Emilee Sinnett (Jefferson City) claimed second place shooting 30-over 100. Her sister, Claire Sinnett (Jefferson City) shot 34-over 104 for third place.

The 14-15 boys division ended with Jack Sinnett (Jefferson City) taking first shooting a 7-over 77. Casson Kipping (Carrollton) got second with a score of 10-over 80. A tie for third place resulted in a chip-off between Lyle Marty (Centralia) and Easton Dodge (Centralia). Both players ended their round 11-over 81. Marty won the chip-off to take the third place medal.

Kindell Owen (Kearney) claimed first place in the 14-15 girls division with 12-over 82. Ashtyn Shaw (Jefferson City) shot 25-over 95 to take home the second place medal. Caroline Hensley (Jefferson City) placed third shooting 38-over 108.

In the 18 hole 12-13 boys division, Blaine Munzlinger (Columbia) took first place shooting 3-under 67. Derrick Douglass (Moberly) shot 4-over 74 for second place. Finn Hutchison (Mokane) ended with a 12-over 82 for third place.

The following divisions played nine holes of stroke play:

Hudson Marcolla (Chillicothe) won the 12-13 boys division with 5-over 40. Grant Darr (Kirksville) claimed second place with 10-over 45. Third place went to Adrian Showers (Brumly) who shot 15-over 50. 

The 10-13 girls division winner is Brandi Wright (Salisbury). Wright shot 28-over 63 to take home the first place medal. 

In the 10-11 boys division, Leyton Martin (Huntsville) and Luke Williamson (Palmyra) tied for first place shooting 15-over 50. Williamson won the chip-off to take home the first place medal. Logan Knaebel (Columbia) secured third place with 17-over 52. 

Henry Welpman (Stover) won the 8-9 boys division. Welpman shot 7-over 42. Gatlin Shockley (St. James) got second place with 13-over 48. Andrew Rouner (Kirksville) and Theo Wilson (Belton) tied for third place. Both players shot 20-over 55 leading them to a chip-off. Wilson took home the third place medal after winning the chip-off. 

Emerson Munzlinger (Columbia) earned first place in the 8-9 girls division with 17-over 52. Allison Knaebel (Columbia) took second with 24-over 59.
