Out of Bounds: Defined by inside points, at ground level, of white stakes and/or fence posts. Rule 27-1b.
Water and Lateral Water Hazards:
- Water Hazards- Defined by yellow lines and/or yellow stakes. Rule 26-1
- Lateral Water Hazards- Defined by red lines and/or red stakes. Rule 26-1
- When a lateral water hazard is defined on only one side, it is deemed to extend to infinity.
- When water hazards and lateral water hazards are bounded by out of bounds, the hazard margin extends to and coincides with the out of bounds line.
Ground Under Repair: Defined by white lines and also includes French drains. Rule 25-1
Seams of Cut Turf (Sod Seams): The Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.
White-Lined Areas Tying into Artificially-Surfaced Roads and Paths have same status as the roads and paths. They are obstructions. Rule 24
Landscaped garden areas completely encircled by an obstruction are part of the obstruction. Rule 24
Worn areas adjacent to cart paths are part of the obstruction. Rule 24
Embedded Ball Through the Green: Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.
Aeration Holes: Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.
Distance Measuring Devices: Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix I is in effect.
Integral Parts of the Course: These Include cables, rods, wires or wrappings when closely attached to trees; artificial walls/pilings when located in hazards unless provided for otherwise in Notice to Players.
Temporary Immovable Obstructions: Local Rule as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.

List of Conforming Golf Balls; Driver Heads: Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.
Limitations on Golf Balls (“One-Ball Rule”): Optional Condition as prescribed in Appendix l is in effect.
Footwear: Shoes with traditionally-designed spikes comprised with partially or entirely of metal are prohibited. Penalty for breach is Disqualification.
Close of Competition: Match Play- When Committee accepts results; Stroke Play-When Committee approves all scorecards and, if applicable, when trophy is presented.
Note: MGA does not have an evacuation plan for severe weather. Players are responsible for their own safety.
