Players competed yesterday at the Missouri Junior Tour event at Silo Ridge GC in Bolivar, Missouri. The was the MJT’s first time holding at tournament at this great location!
In the male 8-9 division, Eli Cummings (Eldon) came in first place with a 9 hole even-par score of 36. Michael Maschino (Linn Creek) finished in second place with a score of 39. Ty Brandt (Jefferson City) followed closely behind with a 40. Isaac Herbert (Grain Valley) and Bryan Carden (Jefferson City) tied for fourth place with scores of 44. After a tie-breaker chip-off, Bryan took home the fourth place medal.
In the male 10-11 division, Talon Hull (Eldon) came finished in first place with a score of 47. Eli Herbert (Grain Valley) came in second with a 48. Third place went to William Boyd (California) with a score of 50. Dawson Schnieders (Jefferson City) and Sam Closser (Jefferson City) both finished with scores of 51. After a chip-off, Sam took home the fourth place medal.
Archer Schnieders (Jefferson City) won the male 12-13 division with a score of 39. In second place was Jonathan Jordan (Rolla) with a score of 43. Teagen Hull (Eldon) finished in third place with a 44 and Owen Herbert (Grain Valley) came in fourth with a 45.
In the female 13 and under division, Sophia Sindlinger (Sunrise Beach) claimed her 5th straight first place victory with a score of 48. Kate Ryan (Columbia) finished closely behind with a score of 49. Sophie Hinds (Jefferson City) came in third with a score of 60.
Kassidy Hull (Eldon) took home first place in the female 14-15 division with a score of 84. Abby Boyer (Kirksville) came in second after shooting an 87 for the day. Hallie Jones (Chillicothe) followed closely behind with a score of 88. Fourth place went to Greta Hinds (Jefferson City) with a score of 91.
In the male 14-15 division, Aidan Wells (Eldon) finished in first place with an 82. Johnny Boyer (Kirksville) came in second with a score of 85. There was a three-way tie for third place between Jake Closser (Jefferson City), Lucas Randall (Versailles), and Zachary Krantz (Lake Ozark) all with scores of 87. After a chip-off, Zachary took home the third place plaque and Jake took home the fourth place medal.
In the female 16-18 division, Jennah Schell (Osage Beach) and Abby Howard (Kansas City) tied for first with scores of 86. Abby won the chip-off to claim first place. Jessalyn Shipp (Kansas city came in third with a score of 90. Sydney Willingham (Columbia) finished in fourth place with a score of 92.
Jacob Krantz (Lake Ozark) won the male 16-18 division after carding a score of 74. Tanner Brandow (Centralia) came in second place with a 76. Third place for the division went to Jonathan Dixon (Springfield) with a 78. Cole Sappenfield (Jefferson City) and Jordan Geiser (California) both shot scores of 82 to tie for fourth place. Cole took home the fourth place medal.

The Missouri Golf Association is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to promote the best interests and true spirit of the game of golf throughout the State of Missouri. The MGA conducts several statewide championships each year, including the Missouri Amateur. The MGA distributes an annual schedule of tournament events and entry forms for each event. Provides advice and information for golf, handicap and rules chairpersons, and provides educational seminars.
