The team of Dennis Osborne and his daughter Kelly of Ballwin, Mo won the Championship Flight earlier this week at the Parent Child Championship at The Club of Porto Cima. They championship flight played scramble, alternate shot and best ball. While all other flights played scramble.

This was the first year that females were invited to play in this event. It was a great success and we were very glad to have them. Of the 87 teams, 12 teams had a least one female and one Mother Daughter team.

The oldest player was Jim Patton of Springfield who is 84! Jim is a member of Twin Oaks CC. He still walks when he plays and most days shoots his age. Pictured with his son Mike from Springfield.

Walker Serrano at the age of 12 was the youngest player in the field. Walker and his Dad, Antonio have been waiting along time to be able to play in this event. They finished 2nd in the Nicklaus Flight. 69/63/132 scramble total

The adorable Perry Wilhite with Dad, Joel. She says one day she will be playing with Dad in this event.  We can not wait Perry.
