Great news for Bass Pro Shops, Branson, the State of Missouri and the game of Golf!!!
The PGA Champions Tour, Legends of Golf has a new location. Starting in 2014 it will be held at The Springs Golf Course at Buffalo Ridge (formerly Branson Creek Golf Club) and the Top of the Rock Golf Course in Ridgedale. Owner, Johnny Morris. The sponsors are Bass Pro Shops and MasterCard.
The week long event will begin Monday, June 2nd and end with the final round on Sunday, June 8th.
Tournament week will include a multi-sport pro-am day including shooting, archery and fishing. Additionally, a Legends fishing tournament will be held Tuesday of tournament week and include professional anglers, Champions Tour players and other sports celebrities.
I think you will agree this is not your typical Champions Tour event. If you get a chance try to catch the entire press conference on the Golf Channel which aired on February 25th. We will update the site as more information is available.

The Big Cedar Lodge Legends of Golf signifies two PGA TOUR-sanctioned events in Missouri in 2014, with the Web.com Tour’s Price Cutter Charity Championship presented by Dr. Pepper, one of four original events on that Tour, being played for the 25th consecutive year at Highland Springs Country Club in Springfield, Mo., August 4-10.
